PETRA is where it all began. In the 1970s, Italo Bottene drew inspiration from semi-precious stones: their colours, shapes and imperfections guided every creation. This gave rise to the gorna, a slender gold frame that gently embraces the stone, transforming it into a story.

IB Noir: The Patent
IB Noir began with a question: how can the boundaries of aesthetics be pushed without sacrificing elegance?
It marks a turning point: a patented technique sets black diamonds into black corundum, a mineral that absorbs light and heightens contrast. Black becomes absolute, magnetic. A rare balance between classical rigour and experimentation.
